Class action litigation, loss of life, house fires. That's a problem. There are gas lines in all gas homes that may exacerbate a potential safety hazard.

If you want to know then you should call us to inspect your gas home. Seriously, it can affect every home and building with gas including the brand new ones built today.

The same problem that affects gas homes has a secondary effect on all electric homes as well. The top inspectors know what to look for and what report to you.

If your inspector is one of the few that is ICC building and mechanical code certified* then you will have the information you need to protect your family and your home. A ICC certified inspector is qualified and an ICC certification is much more than a simple inspector business license.

The faux inspector "certification" by trade associations is as close to Hollywood as you can get.  They really can't explain it from the systems approach as it involves more than just the gas lines.

*ICC = International Code Certified. The only legal national measure of knowledge and experience for being building and mechanical code certified based on education and rigorous testing. The ICC is the only measure for certification by city, state or federal inspectors. http://www.iccsafe.org

Any other certification used by inspectors is just a title used by the various industry marketing association members for marketing/advertising. There's is not a legally recognized building or mechanical code certification. It's as lose to Hollywood as you can get.
